Day 70 – Feeling It

I am completely drained and ready for the end.

Despite having a good amount of stored glycogen and being back on “proper” food, I feel completely empty. This will be an amalgamation of various things. The constant training, the shift back onto low carb, the lack of calories and the poor sleep in these hot Summer nights will all be hurting me, but with a week to go I’m going to have to power on through. I’m feeling it, big time.

Today’s food was the usual affair of meat, fat, veg and nuts. Training consisted of a busy morning of fasted gardening (very rock n roll), followed by more ab work, then later some rowing machine HIIT, then 20 minutes steady state cardio on the cross-trainer with 20 minutes of outdoor jogging. This all went well, but it took a lot of mental focus (and coconut milk) to motivate me to do it.
