Day 65 – Pain and Gain
With my carb fuelled hunger in full effect, this new phase of low carb and low calorie is killing me!

It’s only been two days but I’m finding this surprisingly difficult. I’m keeping calories lower and carbs under 30g, and the exercise volume high. Today I had a shoulders+back session and also played some golf. I’m actually feeling incredibly tired as a result of all this, but a rest day will have to wait until I finish the programme in 12 days.
In terms of progress, I think this new phase is making some difference to my waist. I feel a bit leaner around my belly and sides and am looking a bit more vascular. I’ll continue this for a few more days and then may try the carb loading method as recommended in the book. If I look good I may just stay on low carb till the end, but I don’t want to look flat. We’ll see.
