Day 62 – Volume

Today’s back+shoulders session was pretty tough, but I decided it wasn’t enough. Definitely not enough to satisfy my desire to leave no stone unturned in the quest to achieve my goal.

With the weather being so hot at the moment, I’m spending a lot of time outside. So as soon as work was done for the day I just went a bit mental with the exercise, lifting, squatting, pulling, running and doing pretty much anything outside that would thrash my muscles and keep my heart racing. I just did absolutely loads. It was great fun, and my glycogen fuelled body is lapping up the exercise. I’ve decided that if I’m going to eat the carbs then I need to earn them by upping the resistance training volume and not just wasting them on standard cardio. Being an endomorph the extra volume suits me well, and doesn’t stress me out. Tomorrow is a rest day, so I’ll probably do even more!!
